- the Secret Weapons of Commodore - Cameron Kaiser's SWoC site tries to uncover and document many of the rare and prototype computers and devices the Commodore had produced. Though parts of the text are tounge in cheeck cliche, it is loaded with many interesting tidbits and pictures.
- - the VIC-20 Digital Archeology Site This is a legendary VIC-20 site, which has tries to recapture much of the VIC-20s information.
- the 5.25" Disk Sleeve Archive - If you had a computer in the 80s this arcchive will definately bring back some good memories for you.
- - Erik Klien's Vintage Computer Pages - I met Erik at VCF 5.0, back then he was showing off his Altair and early IBM PC computers. His site showcases his collection and also offers a web-forum for collectors to communicate.
- - Doug Coward's Analog Computer Museum Page - I met Doug at VCF a few years back and he has one of the most interesting collection of analog electric and mechanical computers. Certainly different than the PCs you work with today.
- the Atari Archives - This Atari archive site contains a digital archive of many popular computing books from the late 70s and early 80s (which cover more then just the atari 400 and 800 computers).
Computer Collection Exhibits and Events:
- Computer History Museum - If you want to find out more about all sorts of comuters and thier significance in history, the Computer History Center in Mountain View is the place to visit. The CHM houses the largest computer history exhibit in the United States with examples of computers from the 1800s, the first electronic computers, as well as the supercomputers like the Cray, some of them are actually demonstrated in operation.
Also they regularly have presentations and speeches on various topics of computing history some of which by the creators themseleves.
- Vintage Computer Festival(VCF) - The VCF helps showcase older computers and recognise those of us who use and appreciate them. If you have an interest in old computers and want to meet others with similar interests, the Vintage Computer Festival is the event to attend.

- Early Office Museum - I was a pretty geeky kid growing up, and really enjoyed browsing through office supply stores. This site is just as interesting to me, I discovered it recently looking for the manufacturer of a specific paperclip for my wife.
