A Commodore SX-64 Portable Computer System
This is a complete Commodore 64 system in a compact 30sh pound rugged case. The SX 64 combines the Commodore 64 computer, 1541 5.25" disk drive and a 5" COLOR monitor into one sleek looking case with detachable keyboard. Besides being one of the most sold computers in history, the SX 64 also has the distinction on being the first color portable computer.
Originally SX 64s sold for about $1,000 they are still highly prized by Commodore enthusiasts for being so compact.
A Commodore 1581 800K Floppy Drive
The Commodore 1581 disk drive provides a whopping 800K of disk space on a SD 3.5" diskette. Besides the extra capacity for files the 1581 is also well supported by GEOS and Wheels GUI OSs which increases the usability of those programs.
With the proper software the Commodore 1581 disk drive can also be used to read from and write to IBM DOS formatted 720K disks.
Commodore 1764 RAM expander w/Heavy Duty Power Supply
The Commodore 1764 256K Power Supply ion original packaging includes the RAM Expander, Utility Disk, Manual and a heavy-duty C64 replacement Power Supply.

The 1764 allows the Commodore 64 (or 128) to access 256K more RAM, either through bank switching with the right software (instructions and example programs are in the manual and disk) or can be set-up as a RAM drive with the included RAMDOS on the utility diskette.

The 1764 REU is well supported in a number of advanced 64 programs, GEOS which can use the REU as a high-speed temporary storage, Maverik Disk Copier which can enable the 64 to copy an entire 1541 in one pass. Of like the Super Snapshot (V5) which can allow you to freeze and swap between multiple Commodore 64 sessions (requires the Super Snapshot cartridge and a comaptible multi-port expansion unit). There are other terminal and Word processing programs that utilize the extended capacity of the 1764. BBS Systems greatly benefit from a RAM DOS like the 1764 as they could swap in and out programs in an instant compared to using a standard drive (1764 is compatible with Image BBS and others, check your BBS documentation).

The example programs on the disk and guide illustrate how to use the 64 in your own programms either to swap in and out memory (a high res animation is one example supplied) or to use it as a fast 256K RAM disk storage.

Included with the 1764 is a heavy duty power supply powerful enough to heasily handle the 1764 REU as well as just about any other energy hungry peripheral you add to the 64 (such as a SuperCPU).

The 1764 can be upgraded to 512K (like the 1750) by soldering in 8 additional 256kx1 DRAMs and cutting a trace on the circuit board - or up to 2MB with more involved electronics work.

1541 RAMBoard With Utility Diskette
The RAMBoard allows you to make backups of disks that would normally fail on unexpanded disk drives. If you have a considerable investment in your Commodore software as the years pass it is essential to make backups of irreplaceable programs. The RAMBoard along with the included utilities will allow you to copy those disks that seem uncopiable.
