Here is a small gaming FAQ, (if I had frequent gaming questions, that is):

What is gaming?

Good Question! There are many forms of gaming, the most publicized are of course sports, and gambling, which this FAQ does not cover. We will go more for the ones that are a little more non-traditional.

The Silicon Realms BBS's Semi-Whenever Gaming Gathering!

Pirate Game

[fantasy pirate sea-battle 'miniature wargame' in progress]

So many games so little attendance...
It seems this SiliCon was not well attended as the rest. More people were there to run games then to play. But again a good time was had by all.

The Silicon Realms BBS's Semi-Whenever Gaming/Gathering

SiliCon 6 happened on April 1, 2000 at the Grange Hall in San Andreas

Three Miniature wargames were played at this Silicon:

A pirate miniatures wargame

A Pirate Regatta, the game required the ships and their crews to complete a circuit from the starting point around the farthest island and be the first one (or only one) to return to the starting line. No one was supposed to attack their opponents (at least until passi…

While in a gaming dry spell for a couple years I had started work on collecting gaming materials in case a game should pop up somewhere.what came out of this is my version of a Complete Gamer Kit.

Some of the items were selected because many of the cheapass games I bought do not come with playing pieces and/or game money also from past experience there are a few last-minute items you always have to scrounge around for to set up or continue game play.
