===== CLASS of 2025 Locked In! =====

The Commodore Los Angeles Super Show 2025 is set for April 26-27!  Same place - the Burbank VFW hall.  Same set-up day - the Friday before the show.

===== CLASS of 2024 - Success!  Q'apla! =====

Our Commodore Los Angeles Super Show was a success with lots of happy attendees!  Now it's time to start thinking about the CLASS of 2025!  ;)

===== CLASS of 2024 - April 13-14 =====

The fifth, annual Commodore Los Angeles Super Show is set for April 13-14 at the Burbank VFW hall.  Get ready for a good time!  ;)

===== Set-up Time! =====

We start moving computer equipment into the hall on Friday, April 12, at 1 p.m.!  For those who can't make it on Friday, we will have extra set-up time on Saturday, April 13, starting at 8 a.m., before the show.

===== Location and Admission =====

The Commodore Los Angeles Super Show is held at Burbank Veterans of Foreign Wars hall, VFW USS Gudgeon Ship 8310, at 1006 W. Magnolia Blvd., in Burbank, California 91506, USA.

Admission is $25, whether you come for one day or both days. Under 16 years of age -- admission is free!

As of January 16, 2024, Covid, flu, and RSV cases are rising in Los Angeles County.  You are strongly recommended to be fully vaccinated/up-to-date when coming to CLASS.

===== Directions to the Burbank VFW Hall =====

From the north --

Go south on the I-5 Freeway.  Take exit 146B in Burbank.  Turn right onto W. Burbank Blvd..  Turn left onto Victory Blvd..  Turn right onto W. Magnolia Blvd.

From the south --

Go north on the I-5 Freeway.  Take exit 146A in Burbank.  Turn right onto E. Angeleno Ave..  Turn left onto E. 1st St..  Turn left onto E. Olive Ave..  Turn right onto N. Lake St..  Turn left onto W. Magnolia Blvd.
===== Nearest Airport and Train Service =====

The nearest airport with major airline service is the Burbank Airport (Bob Hope Airport) which is 3.1 miles away.  The nearest airport for private airplanes is the Van Nuys Airport which is 13.9 miles away.  Bus service is available from the Burbank Airport to the intersection of 1st St. and Magnolia, and from there you can walk to our venue, the Burbank VFW Hall.

Next door in the VFW bar, have a beer (or the harder stuff!) and some bar food.  You could even order a Commodore cocktail!  One block to the west is Tony's Italian deli.
===== Saturday Night Dinner =====

A tradition from the days of the Commodore Vegas Expo, we go out to a restaurant after CLASS on Saturday.  This year it's the Nu Great Wok Chinese Restaurant, 101 N Victory Blvd., Burbank, CA, less than 1/2 mile away from our venue at the Burbank VFW Hall.  See

===== Game Competition for Big Prize! =====

A tradition from the days of the Commodore Vegas Expo, we'll have a player-to-player game competition, this year the best player on Donkey Kong 2016 for the C64.  Start practicing now! The contest will run all Saturday and Sunday. The winner will be whoever ranks highest on the leaderboard when the contest closes (1 hour before the event closes).

SCCAN member Danny P. will be the master of ceremonies and will provide this year's prize, a brand new Atari 2600+ console (what?!)!  The winner must be present to receive the prize.
